Is Smart Shoes a safe website for my purchases?

The smartshoes.gr website is completely safe. Your online transactions with our store are compatible with the security protocols of the International Card Organisations Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Diners etc.

 All payments made by card are processed through the electronic payment platform “e-POS, eCommerce” of Piraeus Bank. This platform uses TLS 1.2 encryption with 128-bit encryption protocol (Secure Sockets Layer – SSL). Your navigation and purchases on smartshoes.gr are completely secure.

How do you ensure the Safety of your Clients & Transactions?

Yes. When using our online store -smartshoes.gr -, all information provided and personal data of the user/customer are encrypted based on the 256-bit SSL encryption protocol. During the ordering process in our online store all communication between the user’s computer and our systems is encrypted using an encryption key. That is, each time information is sent to the system, the browser first encrypts it using an encryption key and then sends it to the system.

Registering on the Smart Shoes Online Shop makes it quicker and more convenient for you to purchase items from the shop. Once you have registered, the following services will be available:

  • storage of your invoice and delivery address(es)
  • storage of your credit card data
  • an overview of your orders and their status
  • subscribe and unsubscribe to the newsletter.

How can I register on smartshoes.gr;

Simply go to the “Login” section. Then click on “Register” and create your own user profile. Enter your invoice and delivery address(es) and use the newsletter option to gain exclusive insight into the Smart Shoes world!

I have forgotten my password: what now?

You will find the “Forgotten your Password” button in the “Login” section. Enter your e-mail address in the designated field, click to send the message, and your new password will be sent to you in just a few minutes.

After logging in, you then can go to the “My personal data” section to change the password to one of your choice.

Can I have more than one account?

The smartshoes.gr website is completely secure and we recommend that you open your own account.  There is no reason to have more accounts with smartshoes.gr.

Which browsers does smartshoes.gr support?

Smartshoes.gr is compatible with at least the last two versions of the following browsers: Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer 11, Microsoft Edge and Apple Safari.

Are there any other system requirements?

You will also need JavaScript for some pages or multimedia content.

Does smartshoes.gr encrypt my data?

We are very aware of the responsibility involved in collecting and storing customer data. Rest assured that we are extremely careful with the trust you extend to us. The entire Smart Shoes Online Shop uses the SSL encryption system, which guarantees a high degree of security.

You will notice that the address line in your browser shows HTTPS instead of HTTP. We also use MasterCard and VisaCard Verified Secure Codes to provide additional security for your data if you choose to make payment by credit card.

Can I place an order by e-mail, fax or telephone?

There are three ways to buy a product with us.

Use the shopping cart initially to gather items you would like to order or remember.

Once your selection is final, click the “Checkout” button to begin the ordering process.

It is up to you whether you wish to register as a customer (see “What benefits do I get from registering?”) or complete the ordering process without registering.

Now follow the instructions and select your invoice and delivery address, as well as your preferred shipping and payment methods.

We will once again display an overview of your order before you complete the order. You can correct any errors before final placement of the order.

Can I place an order by e-mail, fax or telephone?

Unfortunately, orders via email or fax cannot be accepted. We can accept orders by email and phone but you will be asked for shipping details and the desired method of payment.

The recommended method of ordering is via the process set out in the e-shop. Obviously, orders can also be placed from our physical store in Karistos, Evia.

I am a new customer. How do I place an order?

I don’t have a credit card. Can I buy?

In smartshoes.gr you can buy our products having the option to pay in three (3) different ways:

1. Payment method.

When the employee of the courier company, Geniki Tachydromiki, SPEEDEX or ACS (Cyprus), comes to your place to deliver the parcel, you pay in cash the value of your order.

The cost for the cash on delivery service is two (2) euros

2. Payment by PayPal. Payment by PayPal is made under the strict transaction conditions imposed by PayPal.

3. Payment by deposit to a bank account.

You can transfer the amount due, to one of the following bank accounts:

– Piraeus Bank.

For orders paid by bank transfer please send us the proof of payment by e-mail to [email protected]. As a reason on the deposit slip please write your order number. The reservation of the products is defined in 2 days from the day of the order and is cancelled in case of non-payment of the order amount in the specified period.

I am looking for a particular product. What is the quickest way to find it?

The Smart Shoes Online Shop search feature will help you find the shoes you dream of even faster! Simply enter your search term, the product category, the article number or the article name into the search field and then confirm your search query.

Alternatively, you can filter the results on each product overview page according to criteria such as colour or material, and in this way get closer to your personal dream style.

Do I need to become a member before I can buy?

No, it is not necessary.

But the process is very quick and simple. After you enter a product into the cart and choose to continue to checkout, the system will automatically guide you to sign up as a new member. The information you need to enter when you register is only used to ensure that we can contact you to send your order.

Your personal data are collected by us exclusively and only in the context of conducting transactions with smartshoes.gr and our communication with you, to complete your orders and facilitate deliveries.

All your personal data, which are collected through the special online form of smartshoes.gr, are absolutely necessary for the performance of the above services and your registration indicates your full consent. You have the possibility, at any time, to access your data. You can also at any time request the immediate deletion of your data.

You are also entitled to exercise at any time all your rights under articles 11-13 of Law no. 2472/1997. In any case, however, your data are kept by our company only for as long as you are a registered user of smartshoes.gr. Your personal data are not communicated to any third party and are managed exclusively by us.

Can I come to your physical store to pick up my order and shop?

Of course you can! Our store is located in Karistos Evia, at 96 Sachtouri Street. For pick-up times and opening hours please contact us.

What happens after I have completed my order?

You will automatically receive e-mail confirmation once you have completed your order. It contains all the details of your order. What’s more, you can go to “My account” > “My orders” at any time to track your order status.

This feature is only available to registered customers. We will send you e-mail confirmation as soon as we have shipped your products from our warehouse.

Can I cancel my order?

You can contact our Customer Service to request order cancellation as long as you have not received an e-mail with confirmation of shipping.

But if the process has progressed too far, you have a 14-day statutory cancellation right after receiving the products. Simply return the products to us if you wish to make use of this right.

Can I cancel the purchase contract? For how long can I cancel?

p>You can remove products from your shopping cart at any time, as long as you have not already sent the order. Simply click on “Shopping Cart” and remove the products you no longer want.

When will products that are out of stock be available again?

You can choose the number you are interested in and you will be notified by email as soon as the stock is available again.

Where can I find the language settings?

You will find the language settings in the navigation menu Here you can switch between the available languages (Greek and English). If you are using a mobile phone, you will find the language settings in the online store menu.

DISPATCH AND DELIVERY

This section provides answers to frequently asked questions about the shipping and delivery process of your orders from smartshoes.gr.

What shipping methods does the online store smartshoes.gr offer?

Smartshoes.gr distributes its products as parcels, which it entrusts to its partners – the courier company Geniki Tafydromiki, Speedex, ACS and Hellenic Post.

In most cases you will receive the shipment within four and five working days.

Can I change the product I received?

You can change the product you received for a different size, color or design within 30 days of receiving your original order, with our partner courier company.

For orders within Greece, the first change is made without any charge. Any other change other than the first will be charged the customer’s return costs. For Cyprus orders &; For Cyprus and abroad the shipping costs are borne by the customer.

A prerequisite for the return of the product is that it must be in its original condition, i.e. it must not be used or have internal and external damage, and it must be in its original packaging (inside its box and in the carrier bag) with its proof of purchase or with any other kind of form.

I sent back a product. When will I get a refund?

We will immediately refund the purchase price upon receipt of your returns if our check is positive. We will refund the amount using the same payment method you chose to pay for your order.

This means that: Your payment will be processed using the same method you used for your payment: You will receive the amount credited to the bank account from which you transferred the money if you paid in advance.

If you chose to pay in advance, we will deduct the value of the items you returned from the invoice amount. You then pay the invoice, minus the value of the items you returned. The amount will be credited to your bank account if you have already paid the invoice.

We will arrange for the amount to be credited to your credit card account if you paid by credit card. Please note that you will not see this credited amount until you receive your next credit card bill, even though the amount has already been transferred.

We have no influence on the accounting cycles of your credit card statement (we ask you to contact your bank on this matter).

Where is my order at the moment?

If you are a registered user, you can track the current shipping status of your order in “My account”/”My orders”.

Please note that tracking shipping does not show your package immediately after you receive your order.

I received a damaged or defective product. What can I do?

We test and examine our products thoroughly. However, there may be individual cases where we do not meet the usual quality standards.

Will I receive notification as soon as you receive articles that I return?

You will receive an e-mail from us confirming receipt as soon as the products you send back have arrived and are entered in our system.

How much are the transport costs?

At smartshoes.gr, the shipping costs for the delivery of your products are Free for orders of 49 € and above. For orders under 50 €, the shipping cost it is 3€.

How will I know if the product I see exists?

The period of time for which the products are posted indicates their availability in our online store.

However, smartshoes.gr is constantly updated with new arrivals and unique designs. You’re sure to find what you’re looking for here.

Can I pay cash on delivery?

Yes! You are more than welcome to pay your order by cash on delivery.

For your convenience, you can send us a private message in our Facebook chat or Instagram and let us know your specific needs. Our staff will help you make the right shoe choice.

How to clean my leather shoes?

Clean the skin with a damp cloth and let them dry. Treat the shoes with a polishing sponge, making circular movements on the surface of the leather.

For extra care, use a special skin care product to fully revitalize the leather of your shoes. Finally, for a complete care and treatment of your leather shoes, spray the surface of your shoes with a protective spray.

How to clean my sneakers?

For this category of shoes we recommend that you wash them and let them dry naturally and not placed them close to heaters.

When can I NOT change/return a product?

All returns made within 14 days from the date of receipt and following the return/change policy regarding the condition of the product will be accepted.

Unfortunately no changes can be made without the receipt or changes to products without their original packaging. To make these changes you must contact the store where the purchase was made.

Do they process my data?

Yes, the data is processed to better tailor the proposal service to the specific user.

According to the requirements of legal regulations (including the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Directive, GDPR), the customer – upon request – has the option to delete all data.

Which credit/debit cards do you accept?

We accept all credit and debit cards.

Can I pick up from the local branch of the courier company you work with?

Of course you can pick up your item from your local branch of the courier company we work with (Geniki Tahidromiki).
